Licensing and Qualifications
Mentoring is based on real-world experience rather than formal education. Consequently, a mentor does not require a license to practice. Nevertheless, my qualifications for mentoring are as follows:
Degree in Small Business Operation (1998)
BS Psychology (2012)
BDSM Mistress and Sadomasochist (15 years)
Consensual Cuckoldress (1996-1998; 2008-Present)
I have been mentoring since 2002, began my first website writing publicly in 2004, and founded LSMentor in 2014 when the vision for my mentoring practice became clear.
We currently need to raise $688.65.
“When he was at the height of his success, Walt Disney received a letter from a critic who implied that Mr. Disney was in the business of making movies just for the money. He replied, ‘We don’t make films to make money. We make money to make more films.’
“For Disney, it wasn’t about the money, but he understood that it cost money—a lot of money—to make the kind of art he cared about making. He had to pay his artists, he had to pay for the film, he had to pay for the actors. It all cost something.
“… As a writer, I’ve accepted the fact that I have to make money off my writing if I want to spend most of my time doing it. But honestly, I don’t do it for the royalty checks. I do it, because I have to. It’s my duty.” – Jeff Goins, GoinsWriter.com
I share the same outlook on money as the gentlemen above. As such, I keep costs related to LSMentor to a minimum by taking advantage of sales when possible. In the interest of transparency, I update this chart regularly to reflect the current needs of LSMentor.
